译文
卷帘人睡醒，放燕子飞进屋中，和它们商量春天的事情。还有多少春光能让百花吐艳露红？将逐渐叶残色衰的预兆都含藏在卖花声中。可眼前的花草并不忧虑将来的处境，它们披着嫩绿的颜色，把面容变得忽紫忽红。它们感到这只是寻常的事情，把自己的命运一半交给小溪流水，一半交给喜怒无常的东风。
苔藓还带着雨水冲刷过的痕迹，云雾又在竹林中滋生，这天气说雨不雨、说晴不晴。小船在岸边静静地泊停，西湖上此刻有多少吹拉弹唱的歌声。粉色的蝴蝶死守着落花不动，为贪寻花香它们宁可让双翅被雨水淋得沉重。谁能理解我心头涌出的一点新愁，寸心之中牵挂着他万里行程。

卷帘人：这里指闺中人。
卖花声：此句谓卷帘人放燕子归家商量春天消息。而其青春不知不觉消逝。
湔（jiān）雨：被雨冲洗。湔，洗涤。
舣（yǐ）：泊舟靠岸。

瑞鹤仙·卷帘人睡起创作背景
张枢是南宋词坛上受人瞩目的音律专家，他辟临安家园湖山绘幅楼为吟台，与杨缵、周密等发起了西湖吟社。这首词便是以西湖春景为题而写的。

“卷帘人睡起。放燕子归来，商量春事。风光又能几？减芳菲，都在卖花声里。”这几句以人为中心，写主人公在春睡醒来后所听到的两种春之声，从春睡中醒来，忙把帘栊高卷，好放窗外那对呢喃私语的燕子进来，听听它们到底在商量些什么春事。外面的卖花声此起彼伏，词人不禁联想到春花的凋残零落，暗惜起春光的所剩无多来。这一部分中，“卷帘”句在章法上有总领全篇和开启下文的作用。是交代“视点”，以下风景皆从此写出。词人听到了两种春声，唤起了他一喜一忧两种情绪。燕子的呢喃私语使他兴奋和好奇，而卖花声则让他感到了春光的匆匆流逝，觉得春天将最终消失在这些叫卖声中。
“吟边眼底，披嫩绿，移红换紫。甚等闲，半委东风，半委小溪流水。”这几句描摹西湖四周的暮春景象，边沉吟边观望，但见湖畔四周一片绿暗红稀，百般红紫先后零落，一半被东风吹走，一半流落于溪水之中。这几句渲染出一种“流水落花春去也”的萧瑟意境，但画面又很凄美逼真，让人如睹其色。“甚等闲”一词表达出词人对“匆匆春又归去”的深切惋惜。“移红换紫”采用借代的修辞手法，表意生动而简洁。“半委东风，半委小溪流水”与苏轼《水龙吟·次韵章质夫杨花词》中“春色三分，二分尘土，一分流水”的笔法十分相近，清新而别致。
“还是，苔痕湔雨，竹影留云，待晴犹未。”过片四句仍承上片之“吟边眼底”写词人眼中的暮春天气。还有那碧绿的青苔，被春雨滋润和冲刷得愈发青翠鲜亮。天上云卷云舒，与疏疏的竹影相互映衬，打造出一片欲晴还阴的天气。这里对江南暮春天气的描绘也很逼真，而且也与词人淡淡的喜悦与忧愁相杂的心情相吻合。
“兰舟静舣，西湖上，多少歌吹。”此二句描绘西湖的繁盛迷人。西湖上游船如云，有的在轻轻游弋，有的正静静地泊在岸边。悠扬的丝竹歌舞之声阵阵传入耳中。此幅画面美丽而欢快。
“粉蝶儿，守定落花不去，湿重寻香两翅。”此二句为细节描写，非常富有诗情画意。春雨之后落红满地，有一只蝴蝶停在落花上双翅轻扇，不肯离去。也不知是翅膀湿重难以飞去，还是眷恋花香不忍离开。此幅画面既生动美丽，又暗含着词人的惜花惜春之意，非常耐人寻味。
“怎知人，一点新愁，寸心万里。”这三句回应篇首，从远近景致回到伤春之人，虚虚淡淡地写出此时此刻的内心感受。面对此情此景，词人神思飘忽，心头涌上万千复杂的况味，其中便夹杂着一丝淡淡的哀愁。

张枢（1292-1348），字子长，祖籍东阳。父张观光娶金华潘氏，遂家于金华，曾为婺州路教授，是金华首任学官，著有《屏岩小稿》1卷。其外祖父家藏书数万卷，枢取读，强记不忘。稍长，挥笔成章。人问古今沿革、政治得失、礼乐兴废、帝号官名，回答皆无脱误。谈论人物，则其世系门阀，材质良莠，历历如指掌。请许谦收为弟子，谦奇其才，以学友相待。耻仕元朝。七年，诏命为翰林修撰、儒林郎、同知制诰兼国史院编修，纂修本朝后妃功臣传，又坚辞不就。使者强其就道，至武林驿称病辞归，次年卒于家。
