译文
九日在龙山宴饮，黄色的菊花盛开似在嘲弄我这个逐臣。
醉眼看看秋风把我的帽子吹落，月下醉舞，明月留人。
注释
龙山：在当涂县南十里，蜿蜒如龙，蟠溪而卧，故名。见《太平府志》。
黄花：谓菊花。菊花有多种颜色，古人以黄菊为正色，故常以黄花代称。
逐臣：被贬斥、被驱逐的臣子，诗人自称。
风落帽：用晋孟嘉九日登高落帽事。详见《九日登山》诗注。东晋大司马桓温曾在重阳节登龙山，其部下参军孟嘉被风吹落帽，孟嘉仍浑然不觉，桓温命人作文嘲之，孟嘉作答，挥笔而就，一时传为佳话。

九日龙山饮创作背景
此诗与前诗《九日》或为同时之作。约作于宝应元年至广德元年（762—763）间。龙山，在当涂县。《元和郡县志》江南道宣州当涂县：“龙山，在县东南十二里，桓温尝与僚佐九月九日登此山宴集。”

九日龙山饮鉴赏
在咏菊诗中，“龙山之会”、“落帽人”是常被引用的典故。李白把这个典故与自己的龙山之游紧密结合在一起抒发了内心的失意愤懑、旷达洒脱的复杂感情。
在重阳节之际，诗人登上了当涂附近的名胜之地龙山，与好友痛饮菊花酒，借吟诗来倾泻胸中之情。首句点明时间地点，既写诗人的宴饮，也扣晋桓温同宾僚的宴饮，这样写就使以后的用典不仅自然吻合，且合情合理，亦即顺理成章。次句“黄花笑逐臣”，着重写宴饮时菊花的神态。“笑”，十分生动、形象地写出了菊花盛开时的美艳的容颜。“逐臣”，追随诗人。这是说菊花开得到处都是，无论诗人到了哪里，都能看到喷吐异香的黄花，同样，诗人无论到了哪里，都有朵朵怒绽的黄花向他微笑。在登龙山之际，联想起这里曾经上演过的名士清流之事，以“逐臣”自比的李白，暂时忘却了政治上的不得意，把自己比作被风吹落帽的名士孟嘉，表达了对名士的向往和对自然的热爱。三、四句“醉看风落帽，舞爱月留人。”前一句用典，重在“醉”字，后一句写实，重在“舞”字。饮美酒赏黄花，酒不醉人人自醉，花不能舞人自舞，体现出饮酒赏花的乐趣，表现出诗人放旷的性格、浪漫的气质。“陶然共忘机”，正是此情此景的真实描绘。可见，后两句诗是前两句诗的深化。诗的最后一句“舞爱月留人”，巧妙地将月亮拟人化，以“月留人”收尾，显得生动别致，表面上是说月亮挽留诗人，而实际上是诗人留恋这脱俗忘尘的自然之境，不愿割舍而去。
孟嘉九日龙山落帽事，是魏晋名士飘逸风度的典型体现，历来文人多爱诵之。李白在这里以孟嘉自比，临风醉酒落帽，对月起舞弄影，自有一分超放的情味。但“逐臣”一语，也透出了他胸中的牢落不平，这就使本诗不仅仅是一篇吟赏前辈风流之作，同时也有其现实遭际的感慨在。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
