万里相看忘逆旅，三声清泪落离觞。
译文：兄弟俩在离家万里的黔州边远之地，依依惜别似乎忘记了身在逆境的羁旅生涯，野猿的悲鸣使我们从离别忘情中清醒，伤心的泪水落洒落在离别时的酒杯之中。
注释：万里：代指路途遥远。相看：相对。逆旅：旅店。觞：指酒杯。
朝云往日攀天梦，夜雨何时对榻凉。
译文：回忆起楚怀王梦见神女朝云暮雪之事，使我不禁想到自己的登天之梦破灭。夜雨淅淅沥沥，何时可以和兄长对床而卧，长聚相伴。
注释：攀天：代指仕途坎坷，阻力重重。。
急雪脊令相并影，惊风鸿雁不成行。
译文：风雨雪交加急降，鹡鸰鸟在风雪中形影不离，鸿雁在风暴中惊慌的离散失群，飞不成行。
注释：脊令：鸟名，即鹡鸰【jīlíng】。鸿雁：喻兄弟。
归舟天际常回首，从此频书慰断肠。
译文：相必兄长你会在归舟中常常翘首遥望天边，频频回首离别的方向，从今后还要多寄来书信安慰天涯断肠的我。
注释：频书：常常通信。

黄庭坚（1045.8.9-1105.5.24），字鲁直，号山谷道人，晚号涪翁，洪州分宁（今江西省九江市修水县）人，北宋著名文学家、书法家，为盛极一时的江西诗派开山之祖，与杜甫、陈师道和陈与义素有“一祖三宗”（黄庭坚为其中一宗）之称。与张耒、晁补之、秦观都游学于苏轼门下，合称为“苏门四学士”。生前与苏轼齐名，世称“苏黄”。著有《山谷词》，且黄庭坚书法亦能独树一格，为“宋四家”之一。
